The two forms of distance education used most often
by Fort Valley State University are (1) web-based instruction and (2) multi-site, interactive courses offered via GSAMS, the
Georgia Statewide Academic and Medical System, a land-based video-conferencing system.
The B.A. degree in English/Technical and Professional
Writing can be earned almost completely at a distance by combining online courses offered at Fort Valley State University
with online courses available through eCoreŠ, the University System of Georgia online core.
FVSU online classes can be accessed at http://webct.usg.edu.
